Applications
Positioning, holding and testing of reagent boards
The PGE series industrial slim-type parallel electric gripper was used together with automation modules to complete repeated positioning, gripping and testing operations of reagent boards.
Handling and positioning of small workpieces
The PGE series industrial slim-type parallel electric gripper was used to complete the handling, positioning and precise assembly of extremely small workpieces.
IGBT module detection loading and unloading
The automatic loading and unloading application with electric grippers comes from the IGBT module (for new energy vehicles) of test equipment in the semiconductor industry. With sensors and SCARA robots, the dual-gripper equipment for simultaneous loading and unloading of IGBT modules can change materials frequently. The wide-stroke, high-gripping-force electric jaw PGE-50-26 and PGI-140-80 are compatible with materials of different sizes.
Mobile phone detection loading and unloading
In the mobile phone audio detection process, the robot equipped with grippers picks up and places mobile phones. The PGE series industrial slim parallel electric grippers can quickly complete equipment setup during product changeovers. The electric grippers have a wide stroke and strong compatibility. They can hold mobile phones of different sizes. With integrated design and precise force control, the grippers can complete the task without any external sensors.
Pick up the earphone to wipe the adhesive.
After the wireless Bluetooth earphone is assembled, the adhesive overflowing from the shell package will be wiped off using a collaborative robot + a six-dimensional force sensor.
The gripping force of a pneumatic gripper is unstable, which can easily damage the surface of the earphone. For this reason, our electric grippers with precise force control are preferred for the earphone gripping process.
VR glasses lens inspection
In this application, the lens was gripped for surface inspection and to scan the QR code. Compared to the pneumatic gripper suction cup solution that carries a high risk of damaging the lenses, our PGE-5-26 electric grippers with precise force control protect the lenses and can grip lenses of different sizes.
Pick and Place Chips
For chip handling in chip sorters in the semiconductor industry, vacuum suction cups are traditionally used to pick and place chips. Due to insufficient vacuum from the suction cups, there is a risk of dropping during handling, so the PGE-2-12 electric gripper is used in this application.
Advantages of the PGE series: Precise force control, high repeatable position accuracy, and non-destructive gripping of chips can be achieved.
96-well plate storage and handling
The unmanned laboratory is not only used in the sample preparation stage. Thanks to the combination of "AGV + Six-axis Robot + Electric Gripper + 3D imaging", the 96-well plate reagent kit processing task can also be carried out unmanned after the sample is divided into containers. DH-Robotics electric grippers can complete the task of picking up and unloading materials, transfer the 96-well plate to the storage box, or move the processed sample box to the test equipment, stabilizing the grip and ensuring the safety of the sample during transport.
Unmanned novel coronavirus detection
More possibilities for unmanned coronavirus detection and throat swab sampling: The solution is an AGV containing two RGI rotary grippers and one PGE parallel electric gripper to complete the collection of collectors, sampling, opening of the test tube, storage of samples and closing of caps, disinfection and all of the above operations. No human intervention is required throughout the entire process.
Throat swab sampling robot
Currently, various emergencies place higher requirements on nucleic acid testing organizations. The Chinese Government recently announced the requirement that "all inspections must be completed within 2 days if the number of inspectors is less than 5 million, and all inspections must be completed within 3 days if the number of inspections is more than 5 million." This is undoubtedly a major challenge in terms of speed and safety.
The throat swab sampling robot with the DH-Robotics PGE series gripper can complete the sampling step independently without medical personnel, and results can be obtained in as little as 45 minutes. According to feedback from subjects, the robot moves gently and offers a good experience. It can be used as an aid for manual detection, increasing detection efficiency and saving labor.
Nucleic Acid Virus Aliquoting Apparatus
The sub-container process transfers scattered reagents into reagent kits (24, 48, 96-well plates) for batch processing and testing in accordance with international standards. In this process, the use of electric grippers can preserve the cleanliness of the kit and samples to the highest degree.
The virus tube was gripped and rotated to scan the sample information.
Automatic cup handling system
The automatic sub-container handling system can automatically complete the opening, scanning, information entry, pipetting, plate rotation and cap closing of the sample tube through ABB's Scara robot arm and DH-Robotics electric gripper. The entire process is carried out under closed negative pressure to ensure the sample remains clean and free of contamination.
